Thank you for stopping by Meandering Missourians. I hope you will enjoy the information here and will return to see future posts. If you would be so kind as to sign up for my newsletter you will be informed when new posts are added. ( I will not share your information with anyone else.)
One day recently I told my husband that I had this idea to write a blog. With me being an accountant he assumed I meant about accounting. I told him I wanted to share with others all the places in Missouri that we love to visit.
Webster’s Dictionary defines meander as this: “To wander aimlessly or casually without urgent destination.” Yep! That fits us just perfectly. Many a Saturday we have gotten in the car, started up the road and then said to each other “Where do you want to go today?”. We usually decide on a general direction to head and go. Sometimes we plan our day’s trip around a certain restaurant that we want to eat at on that day.
When the boys were little we started a tradition one day when trying out a new road. We always said we had to go down at least one road that we had never been down before. Most weekends we fulfill this idea.
My husband and I both love old buildings, barns and bridges so our meanderings always include a lot of pictures. I will try to share a few pictures in each post. I will follow up with additional pictures on the Meandering Missourians Facebook page.
